We work closely with leading authorities in fire safety and the Fire & Rescue Service nationwide as well as Secured by Design, the official UK Police initiative supporting ‘designing out crime’ owned by Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO).
Gerda conducts extensive testing for its product ranges and works with UKAS accredited test houses. Our products are awarded third party certification with recognised UK notified bodies.
Gerda is at the forefront of innovation, bringing together solutions to meet fire safety and security. Gerda products are designed to meet the needs of our customers in their market place.
Our manufacturing capability reflects this ethos with state-of-the-art equipment. Investment into bespoke software has led to enhancements in surveying and manufacturing processes. Dimensions and data are automatically cross checked throughout the ordering system, so that doorsets meet a building’s requirements and the scope within Gerda’s extensive fire test remit.
We are ISO9001 certified and conduct extensive trials at UKAS accredited test houses to ensure products perform in real live situations. All systems carry third party certification, which means we are audited by independent UKAS notification bodies.
