Detecting smoke, flames and heat
The SecuriBeam ILIA consists essentially of three components: a transmitter, a receiver and a remote control unit. The receiver meticulously evaluates the transmitted infrared light beam. Unlike conventional models the fire detector detects not just smoke-related attenuations, but also typical modulation frequencies caused by unusual increases in temperatures and flames – for three times the safety! If when analysing the light beam the detector spots any danger, it immediately triggers an alarm signal.
Monitoring all the way
Each transmitter/receiver unit is capable of monitoring sections up to 200 m long. In the full configuration up to 8 transmitter/receiver units can be connected to one control unit. A large-scale system of this size is then able to monitor surface areas of up to 24,000 m2 with the utmost precision* – for instance:
- Industrial plants
- Department stores
- Cinemas, theatres, etc.

Tough when it needs to be, but always user-friendly
Disruptive variables such as dust and dirt make no difference whatsoever to the SecuriBeam ILIA. Impurities simply bounce off its nano-sealed discs; in fact, in its DUST version, even the toughest ambient conditions cannot prevent it from reliably doing its job. With the centralised control unit, programming, controlling and maintaining the system could not be easier. It can for example be fitted next to the fire alarm control panel.
