Three adjacent aircraft hangars at Zaventem Brussels International Airport have recently been equipped with SharpEye 40/40-I Triple IR Flame Detectors due to their proven high reliability.
The brand new JetAirFly JetAirport Hangar chose to protect the building for the first time with the SharpEye detectors. The Brussels Airlines `Hangar, however, replaced older UV/IR detectors as they gave false alarms every now and then.
Both of these hangars have detectors installed at two heights, providing underwing and overwing protection. The private Abelag Hangar also installed 40/40I Flame Detectors.
